The cashew nut export market is becoming desolated on the last days of the year. There are only a few scattered purchasing demands in the market.
The price of cashew nut tend to fall due to slack trade. There are many offers cashew kernels for the second, third, and even fourth quarters of 2026 from big factories, but they are still not enough to attract buyers.
In November, Vietnam exported about 68,000 tons of cashew kernels and imported about 174,00 tons of raw materials. Besides, about 14,000 tons of cashew kernels from Africa were also imported into Vietnam.
Until the end of November, Vietnam imported about 705,000 tons of IVC raw materials (up about 13%) and about 1 million tons of Cambodia raw materials (up about 15%) compared to the same period in 2024.
