The cashew nuts market is starting to enter a quiet period. Some sellers say that the Christmas and New Year holidays are approaching therefore, it's not surprising that the market is becoming increasingly quiet.
The average price of WW320 from BRC packers is fluctuating around $3.15/lb (down about 5 cents/lb compared to the first week of December).
The domestic market is also quiet. A few trading companies are buying WW240 cashew kernels at around $3.30/lb and WW320 about $3.12/lb (prices include packaging costs).
There are only about two months left until the Lunar New Year 2026. Currently, many factories are starting to produce roasted salted cashews to serve domestic consumption during the holiday.
