In the domestic market, most buyers are focusing on the WW240 grade. Prices for WW240 range from $3.30 to $3.45/lb (depends on quality).
Ogbomosho raw material is currently being offered about $1,490/ton, 49lbs outturn and 180 nuts. Based on the current raw material price, the break-even point for WW320 fluctuates around $3.15/lb.
In the first half of August, Vietnam exported approximately 30,300 tons of cashew kernels and imported approximately 94,600 tons of raw materials.
